In addition to having some of the industry’s brightest, most experienced people
on our staff, we also work with top private sector consultants. And, with a staff
complement largely made up of the team that contributed to PRASA’s turnaround, we’re
confident we have the optimum mix of skills and experience to make a success of
any project we embark on.
Here are the members of our executive committee.
Martha Ngoye – Chief Executive Officer
As CEO, Martha is responsible for providing strategic direction for Intersite
Asset Investments.
Martha is not new to the rail industry, having been employed as legal advisor, commercial
and finance law, to Transnet Limited, particularly in the sale of its non-core assets,
commercial and all treasury related transactions.
Previously, she spent several years in various legal capacities: at Barclays Bank,
as legal advisor on its commercial banking transactions, Debt Capital Market transactions
as well as various commercial related matters; at Standard Bank, advising the Bank
on e-commerce related matters and general banking transactions; at Edward Nathan
and Friedland Inc, as article clerk and an admitted attorney working on various
privatisation transactions, empowerment deals and concession work, as well as general
commercial legal work.

Grant Rock – Executive for Asset Development and Investments
In his role heading up Asset Development and Investments, Grant oversees all developments
the company is involved in, as well as managing all project management requirements.
In addition, he is in charge of market analysis and research, ensuring that all
the latest information on market trends are available to Intersite.
Grant has a wide range of commercial experience from practising as a corporate attorney
in various capacities in South Africa, London and New York. Grant also has specific
property development expertise having worked in a managerial position for one of
the most successful private property funds in South Africa.
Prior to his appointment by Intersite, he worked in the UK as a solicitor in private
practice and as legal counsel for an AIM listed property developer, Westcity PLC.
Previously, he worked as a general manager: property development at Zenprop and
a senior associate at Bowman Gilfillan.

Mthandeni Mntungwa – Executive for Commercial Services
As head of Commercial Services, Mthandeni oversees Third Party Projects as well
as Strategic Partnerships, and is also involved in developing and rolling out the
Group’s shared services model. In addition, his portfolio includes managing the
Group’s advertising platforms to maximise revenue.
Before his appointment, Mthandeni Mntungwa held the same position at Intersite Property
Management Services, where the portfolios he was responsible for included Legal,
Risk and Compliance; Stakeholder and Key Account Management, as well as Sales and
Marketing.
Prior to that he worked as a director at M Fifteen Engineering and held various
positions at Standard Bank (CIB) and ABSA Bank.

Fefekazi Sefara – Company Secretary
As Company Secretary, Fefekazi is responsible for Board and EXCO Management, as
well as implementing and monitoring compliance with the King III Code of Corporate
Governance and relevant legislation. She worked as Company Secretary for Intersite
Property Management Services prior to its restructuring.
Previously, Fefekazi worked as an assistant Company Secretary and Head of Secretariat
at the Independent Development Trust where she focused on corporate governance,
Board and EXCO Management. She also worked at Transnet as a Company Secretary and
at the University of Natal as a candidate attorney and a professional assistant.
